Tóirse, aka: Booger,
Ting Chuggy & Educution has been jackin’ dancefloors for the
past ten years and has supported the likes of Andy Weatherall, Plaid, Ian
O’Brien, Chris Simmonds and Suburban Knight. He has held national
residencies at clubs like The Forum in Waterford. For years he has also
been playing for Dublin’s prestigious U:mack Productions, at nights
such as Static, Bleep and Softswing.

Booger is just as competent in a studio or live set-up.
But it is a fusion of this talent with an incredible capacity to make dance-floors
rock that is the beauty of his solo work; at the 2002 Dublin Electronic
Arts Festival his live set filled the floor for Mike Paradinas. Front End
Synthetics released his work on a couple of compilations, and have recently
released his debut EP “Is it still the future?”. He’s
also re-mixed Ambulance (Planet-mu) for U:Mack Records and has tracks on
a forthcoming Front End Synthetics compilations, ‘Festering’,
and ‘Best Friends’, a remix album of the fantastic “Some
best friend you turned out to be” by Max Tundra. Keep eyeballs wide
for ‘Ting Chuggy vol. 1’ and ‘Educution vol.1’
out soon on D1aspora.
